About David

David is an experienced litigator focusing his practice on complex civil litigation, construction claims, real estate litigation, and insurance defense. David recognizes the stress and costs litigation can impose on individuals and businesses and strives to keep the end goal in mind and implement strategies to seek the most successful outcome possible for his clients. David is a shareholder, and the current managing partner of the firm. David was born in Naperville, Illinois, and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He received a bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, and his law degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In law school he worked as a research assistant for Professor Timothy Davis in the areas of sports law and contracts, as well as interned at Forsyth County Public Defender’s Office. David began his legal career working as an assistant public defender in Stuart, Florida. David gained substantial trial experience representing indigent clients in criminal cases, including cases involving crimes punishable by life in prison. In 2012, he joined a highly respected firm in Stuart, Florida, where he represented businesses and individuals in a wide variety of disputes, with a focus on commercial foreclosure prosecution, loan workout, and special asset litigation for a large financial institution. Prior to joining RWLB in 2018, David worked at an international law firm out of Charlotte, North Carolina, where he represented financial institutions in state and federal courts throughout the country. David enjoys skiing during the winter, golfing, and spending his free time with his wife and son.
