About Dean

Dean Ogrin is a civil trial attorney and partner who runs our Litigation Department. He has decades of experience and worked for two premier Los Angeles personal injury trial firms on significant cases before joining MLA, including a $42M highway design/bad faith case, a $26M police misconduct/civil rights case, and a $25M automobile product liability/repair case. As MLA’s lead trial counsel, he obtained a $17M judgment on jury verdict, a $10M truck v auto settlement, and worked on an $11.6M sexual abuse settlement, among other substantial results. Before becoming an attorney, Dean was a professional drummer for years, obtained his BA in Psychology from CSUN where he was accepted to a master’s program, obtained his JD from Whittier College School of Law, and his MBA from Pepperdine University. He enjoys watching baseball and loved coaching his sons who played at all college levels and an MLB draft pick. Dean enjoys quality time with friends and family, music, sports, exercise, and being outdoors.
