Deborah Barra is an attorney with nearly 20 years of experience, having served 17 years as a prosecutor in Orange and Osceola County, and three years as Chief Counsel for the Sheriff of Osceola County. As a prosecutor, she was Chief Assistant, supervising 165 prosecutors, and also served as Chief of the Sex Crimes Division, Chief of the Grand Jury, and on the Death Penalty Board. She has tried over 150 jury trials and conducted a 6-month review into the Pulse Nightclub shooting, which received international media attention. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Flagler University and a J.D. from the University of Florida.
