About DEREK

Derek has experienced a substantial amount of success in court throughout the course of his young career. His dedication to case preparation as well as a firm understanding of the law compliments his natural ability as a litigator, negotiator and orator. Derek graduated from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, Minnesota after obtaining his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota. During law school, Derek participated in a number of activities including Moot Court, the Community Justice Project and the Public Defender Externship. In addition Derek worked for the Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office, the Ramsey county public defenders office, and worked at a local law firm. In these capacities, Derek gained experience in criminal law, civil rights law, personal injury law, and appellate law. He is committed to representing his clients. Whether it involves accusations of criminal conduct, debilitating injuries or small business dealings, he is committed to pursuing the best outcome for his clients through passionate and zealous advocacy.
