Douglas K. Marsico is shareholder in Caldwell & Kearns in Harrisburg. Mr. Marsico's practice concentration is in criminal defense, DUI defense, traffic violations, driver's licensing matters, litigation, professional licensing, landlord representation, and real estate closings. Mr. Marsico began his law career as law clerk to the Honorable Richard A. Lewis, Court of Common Pleas, Dauphin County, and later served as a prosecutor for three years in the Dauphin County District Attorney's office. He currently serves as an assistant solicitor for the County of Dauphin. Mr. Marsico has been appointed several times as an Arbitrator by the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas. He has handled hundreds of criminal cases as a defense attorney and has practiced in numerous counties in Pennsylvania. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the United State District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Marsico has taught seminars on criminal law, traffic law, and landlord/tenant law. He has served on the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing (2019-2023) and has been an instructor for the Minor Judiciary Education Board since 2001. Mr. Marsico is a graduate of West Chester University and the Widener University School of Law, and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Cumberland County Bar Association, Dauphin County Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Association for Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Marsico was born in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania and currently resides in Upper Allen Township with his wife and two children. He is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mechanicsburg, a longtime coach and Board Member of Upper Allen Mechanicsburg Baseball Association, and an Assistant State Commissioner for Pennsylvania Cal Ripken Baseball.
