Duncan R. Hickman

About Duncan

Duncan is originally from Columbia, South Carolina, but grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. He returned to Columbia, where he double majored in Finance and Real Estate at the Darla Moore School of Business. He is a former captain and team president of the USC Hockey Team and was an active member and chairman of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. While earning his undergraduate degree, Duncan worked for the litigation insurance defense team at a notable South Carolina defense firm before transitioning to a local plaintiffs’ firm, where he was responsible for conducting firm outreach, including organizing speaking events and executing other successful marketing and sponsorship opportunities. During law school, he began clerking at the same firm and shifted his focus to legal research, preparing memos, motions, and other legal documents for the courts, and reviewing case files. After obtaining his license to practice law in South Carolina, Duncan joined Woron & Dhillon, LLC, where he continues fighting for the best results possible for each of his clients. Duncan lives and works in both Charleston and Columbia. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, playing hockey and guitar, and supporting Gamecock Athletics.
