Attorney Elisabeth Gillooly Grudberg graduated from Fairfield University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She was employed as a Legal Assistant in the litigation department at Wiggin & Dana before entering law school. Attorney Grudberg received her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, in 1995 from Quinnipiac University School of Law where she served as a Note/Casenote editor of the Quinnipiac Law Review and received numerous academic awards, including the American Jurisprudence Book Award for Legal Skills, the Zeldes, Needle & Cooper Award for Excellence in Legal Writing and the ABA Section of State and Local Government Award for Land Use Planning. She began practicing law at a New Haven firm representing clients in all areas of civil litigation and gained invaluable courtroom experience while trying numerous cases to verdict. She serves as a court-appointed Committee of Sale in foreclosure matters. Attorney Grudberg taught at Quinnipiac University as an Adjunct Professor of Legal Studies for fifteen years, primarily teaching legal research and writing. In 1995, she was admitted to the bars of the State of Connecticut and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. She is a member of the New Haven County Bar Association. Her practice focuses on civil litigation.
