Elisheva Patterson

About Elisheva

Elisheva was raised in the Kansas City area and has lived in a variety of places since. In 2009 she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Kansas and was a Division I athlete on the university’s rowing team. In 2011 she graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her Master of Science in Geology. After graduating Elisheva worked for Noble Energy Inc. in Houston, Texas, for seven years, working as a development geologist on offshore oil fields in Israel, Equatorial Guinea, and the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. Elisheva’s background in science earned her the James A. Glasgow Scholarship when she attended the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in Tucson, Arizona. She graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree in 2020. While in law school Elisheva was a member and Managing Editor for the Arizona Law Review journal and published her note, Academic Author Copyright Loss-Impacts and Remedies, in the journal’s Fall 2019 edition. Elisheva also graduated with a certificate in Intellectual Property and worked in the college’s Intellectual Property Clinic, providing copyright, trademark, trade secret, and patent legal aid to the local community. In her free time, Elisheva spends time outdoors with her husband, Kurt Sundell, a geology professor at Idaho State University. They like looking at rocks and enjoying the splendor of the Idaho landscape. When not working on behalf of clients or outside she is working on home improvement projects at their new home. Elisheva earned her J.D. from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in 2020, her M.S. in Geology from the University of Oklahoma in 2011, and her B.S. in Geology from the University of Kansas in 2009.
