About Eric

Eric J. Tatum is an attorney born and raised in Gwinnett County, Georgia. He graduated from Presbyterian College in 2008 with a dual major in economics and business administration, and received his Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University in 2011. He specializes in family law and adoption, and is licensed to practice in all lower courts of Georgia, as well as the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. Eric is adept at QDROs and property division, especially in high asset divorces. His skill in custody litigation and adoption comes from his passion for families and children, having served as a Guardian ad Litem and experienced various dynamics of fatherhood. He is a tenacious advocate for his clients, aiming to achieve realistic results and often exceeding expectations. Eric launched the “Affordable Adoption Georgia” program in 2023. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four daughters, traveling, missions work, and rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves.
