Eric Bland graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tampa in 1985 and from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1988 as an Order of the Coif member. He was selected for inclusion in South Carolina Super Lawyers in 2015, 2016, and 2017 for Professional Liability. In 2013, he received board certification as a diplomat in Legal Malpractice by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys, scoring in the top 2% of all attorneys who have taken the test. A member of the South Carolina Bar, Eric, alongside his partner Ronnie Richter, has achieved over $105,000,000.00 in verdicts and settlements for clients since 1998. Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he established his practice in South Carolina in 1991, representing corporations and gaining a reputation as a tenacious litigator. He served as primary counsel for Ducane Gas Grills, Inc. and has represented physician groups, residential homebuilding and land development companies, and gaming companies.
