Ronnie Richter successfully completed national testing in Legal Malpractice and received certification as a diplomat in the field of Legal Malpractice by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys, recording the highest score to date. He was selected for inclusion in the Super Lawyers 2015 list for Professional Liability. A Charleston native, Ronnie graduated from the College of Charleston in 1990 and the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1993, graduating in the top 20% of his class. Prior to law school, he worked as a pipefitter. He began his legal career in a small firm, then started a solo practice in 1997 focusing on medical malpractice and serious injuries. He co-founded Bland Richter, LLP with Eric S. Bland in 1997. Ronnie is a frequent presenter at continuing legal education seminars on legal malpractice and ethics and a guest lecturer at the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is the past President of the School Board for The Charleston Catholic School.
