About F.

Frank Burns is a highly successful senior litigator with over three decades of experience in Personal Injury, Commercial, and Family Law litigation. He obtained his Bachelor of Law degree graduating cum laude from the University of Ottawa in 1976 and was called to the Bar in 1978. Since then, he has diligently represented litigants in numerous trials and appeals, appearing at all levels in the Ontario Courts and the Supreme Court of Canada. Frank worked with Harvey Bliss, Q.C., focusing on Commercial and Family Law litigation, and appeared as counsel on numerous precedent-setting cases. In 1995, he joined Lofranco Barristers, exclusively representing plaintiffs in Personal Injury actions and Accident Benefits disputes, where he was lead counsel in many jury trials and acted in the landmark case of Persofsky v. Liberty Mutual Insurance. He returned to Lofranco Corriero in 2007, working on serious and complex personal injury cases as trial and appellate counsel, resolving significant claims.
