Francesca was born and raised in Ottawa, where she earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Carleton University. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor in 2018 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019. During law school, Francesca served as a research assistant and worked at Community Legal Aid as a group leader, representing clients in criminal, residential tenancy, and small claims matters. Driven by a genuine passion for helping those in need, Francesca founded Sacks for Santa in 2019, a charitable initiative that benefits the Windsor Youth Centre. She continues this work serving as a Board Member of Building Bridges Erie Shores (“The Bridge”), a Leamington-based community resource centre that provides support services to youth aged 14-24. The Bridge offers supportive housing, mental health resources, drop-in programmes, nutrition assistance, and job and educational support. It also provides sponsorships and mentorship programmes for young entrepreneurs whilst organising campaigns to raise awareness and funds for youth homelessness. Before joining Greg Monforton and Partners, Francesca practised civil and family law litigation and served as a federal prosecutor. Francesca is fluent in French, Spanish, and Italian.
