George R. Wise Jr. practices in the areas of medical negligence, medical products and products liability litigation. George Wise is a native Arkansan, born in Batesville, Arkansas. He is married to Barbara Gilbert-Wise and has two sons, Charles and Dalton. He received a B.A. from the University of Arkansas in 1975 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas in 1978. In 2016, George was awarded the Roxanne Wilson Advocacy Award. George was selected as the 2005 Outstanding Trial Lawyer by the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. George was President of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association in 2014 to 2015. He is currently the Chair of Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association’s Publications Committee. Mr. Wise has been selected as a Mid-South Super Lawyer in Medical Malpractice from 2012 to 2018. Mr. Wise was also awarded “Top Rated Medical Malpractice Attorney in Little Rock, AR” by Super Lawyers for 2021. George Wise is being recognized in the 2022 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
