He attended Little Rock’s Catholic High School, Hendrix College in Conway, and is a 1978 honor graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, where he was the associate editor of the Arkansas Law Review. In his over forty years of legal experience, he has handled all aspects of personal injury litigation. For the last twenty-five years, Lamar has focused primarily on medical malpractice litigation. He was recognized by Soirée Magazine as the Best Environmental Law Attorney in 2014. In 2009, Lamar’s wife, Debbie was hospitalized for six months after she developed surgical complications from a colon resection. This experience left lasting effects on the two of them, and Lamar has gained tremendous insight and understanding as to what families experience during a medical crisis.
