About Janine

Janine Gismondi focuses her practice in employment law, with an emphasis on employment litigation in the federal and state courts. Janine has more than 30 years of experience representing both employers and employees in a broad range of work-related issues. Her litigation experience includes matters involving discrimination, harassment, disability accommodation, compensation practices, employment contracts, non-compete agreements, employee discipline and termination, government contracting and professional licensure. While she has an extensive litigation background, Janine devotes a significant portion of her practice toward working with clients to minimize the risk of litigation or, if litigation cannot be avoided, to maximize their chances of a successful outcome. Janine received her undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University and her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Pennsylvania bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. After admission to the bar in 1979, Janine worked for the United States Labor Department, first as a trial attorney and later as Regional Counsel. She joined McQuaide Blasko in 1989.
