Jim Reeves, born in Mobile, Alabama, graduated with honors from the University of South Alabama in 1989 and cum laude from Tulane University Law School in 1992. He began his career representing corporations and insurance companies, quickly becoming a partner. In 1998, he transitioned to representing individuals and businesses harmed by negligence, successfully handling thousands of cases against major corporations. He is recognized as a seasoned trial attorney, appointed by federal judges for complex national and international litigation, including serving on Plaintiffs’ Steering Committees for Chinese drywall and Deepwater Horizon oil spill cases. Mr. Reeves holds an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, is a Fellow at the National College of Trial Advocacy, and is an active member of numerous bar associations and trial lawyer organizations. He is also a prolific author and lecturer on complex civil cases.
