About John
John Booth Farese is an attorney at Farese, Farese & Farese, P.A. He received his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1969 and his B.A. in Psychology from Rhodes College in 1966. He is licensed in Tennessee and Mississippi (1969), and practices in federal courts including the U.S. District Courts for Western District of Tennessee, Middle District of Alabama, Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, Eastern District of Arkansas (1979), U.S. Court of Appeals 5th Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has served as Chairman of the Governor's Commission on Crime and Delinquency (1976-1978) and as Attorney for Benton County (1972-1980, 1990-1994) and Benton County Board of Education (1981-1986). He is a member of numerous professional associations including the Mississippi Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, and National Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He was selected as a Super Lawyers in 2023 and recognized for 15 years of Super Lawyers recognition.
