About John

John Bee’s steadfast respect for the law serves as the foundation of his legal practice. With a diverse litigation and appellate case portfolio, John builds on this foundation with experience and an appreciation for what is at stake for each individual client, regardless of the size or complexity of the issue. As both a litigator and appellate counsel, John has the benefit of approaching every case with dual insight. He maintains both a broad understanding of the big picture of a case, and knowledge regarding discrete issues and legal arguments that can ultimately dictate the final outcome of a matter. John has experience at every level of the judicial system in Pennsylvania, including arbitrations, Magisterial District Court hearings, and proceedings before the Court of Common Pleas, the Commonwealth Court, the Superior Court and the PA Supreme Court. John is also admitted to practice before the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and the Supreme Court of the United States. In his litigation practice, John focuses primarily on transactional and business disputes, and he is also well-versed in unique and unusual civil cases. Typical clients include, but are not limited to, business owners, members of private enterprise, municipalities, public authorities, developers, property owners, landlords, creditors and debtors. John handles all aspects of litigation, drawing on his background as a judicial law clerk to counsel his clients in a thorough yet cost-effective manner. John also serves as appellate counsel in a wide variety of matters. In this capacity, John utilizes his role as a trial attorney to identify issues for appeal, and to successfully defend appeals of lower court decisions. John’s appellate practice is comprised of both oral and written advocacy, and enables him to rely on his enhanced legal research and analysis skills to untangle complex issues and legal questions. John understands that all of his clients have experienced a difficulty or problem that they cannot solve themselves, and he prides himself on using his skills to help people in a reasonable and practical way. He similarly extends this approach to getting involved in the community, most notably as an active board member of the Mid-State Literacy Council.
