About John
John Christopher Clark, a founding partner of Clark, Smith & Sizemore, LLC, represents severely injured individuals and families who have experienced a death due to negligence. He has handled numerous cases against commercial trucking companies, nursing homes, product manufacturers, hospitals, insurance companies, and other businesses. A significant portion of his work comes from referrals from other lawyers and law firms seeking assistance with substantial and complex personal injury matters. A former officer in the United States Army, Chris graduated summa cum laude from The Citadel in 1985. He was the first recipient of the Hank O’Neal Scholarship at Mercer Law School, where he was a Mercer Law Review editor, member of the Brainerd Currie Honor Society, and graduated with high honors. He clerked for the Honorable Jack T. Camp, United States District Court, Northern District of Georgia. Chris has received the highest AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, has been recognized by "Best Lawyers in America" since 2009, and as a Georgia Super Lawyer since 2007. He served as President of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association from 2009-2010 and was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers in September 2019. Chris has been an adjunct professor at Mercer Law School for 22 years, teaching Advanced Legal Writing / Trial practice.
