John Wilborn has been practicing law in Arizona for more than 30 years and brings a wealth of experience and personal knowledge of the state and federal judicial systems. During his career he has represented individuals, small corporations, and international companies in litigation against insurance companies and large corporations. His previous experience in complex litigation has ranged from multi-million dollar construction cases to products liability cases, TBI cases, all manner of insurance cases, wrongful death, employment cases, sexual abuse cases, personal injury both large and small, and more. However, for the past 25 years he has focused his practice on suing insurance companies on behalf of policy holders. John was part of a team that tried the Diamond v. General American Ins. Co., case, a disability insurance claim that resulted in a $63 million dollar verdict. Later he also helped try Gibbs v. Liberty Mutual Ins. Co. case in which the insurer denied coverage for a $10,000 used truck that resulted in a $1.4 million dollar verdict for the truck owner. Over the years he has helped his clients collect millions of dollars from insurance companies. Most recently, John finished litigating several complex cases involving insurance marketing and underwriting consumer fraud of variable life insurance policies issued by both Transamerica and AXA Equitable. The AXA Equitable cases were litigated in the Southern District of New York resulting in just and fair settlements for the clients. The case involved hundreds of millions of dollars of in force policies.
