About Joshua
Joshua Finer was born and raised in Emmetsburg, Iowa. After graduating from Emmetsburg High School, Josh attended the University of Iowa, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Following the completion of his undergraduate studies, Josh moved to Chicago, Illinois where he worked as a skip tracer and private investigator for Stern Process and Investigation. Josh eventually relocated back to South Dakota where he enrolled at the University of South Dakota School of Law. While attending law school, Josh clerked at both the Berreau Law Office in Canton, South Dakota and the Minnehaha County Public Defender’s Office in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After graduating from law school, Josh joined Richardson, Wyly, Wise, Sauck & Hieb, LLP in August 2013 and became a partner at the firm in January 2016. In addition to his law practice, Josh has served on many board in Aberdeen, SD. He is currently the President of the Aberdeen Wrestling Club and helps fundraise for the Northern State Wrestling Program.
