About Karla

Karla Neninger is a litigation attorney in the firm’s Chicago office, dedicated to getting the best possible outcome for her clients while ensuring they maintain their dignity through the recovery process. The daughter of Cuban immigrants, Karla speaks Spanish fluently and enjoys collaborating with her Spanish-speaking clients in their native tongue. She earned a Juris Doctor with a Certificate in Litigation from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2020, where she also received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Tax Crimes & Controversies and Advanced Estate Planning. She holds a BA in Political Science from The Ohio State University (2016), with a focus on Cooperation, Conflict, and Violence, and a minor in French. Karla has years of litigation experience in personal injury, real estate, construction, employment, and criminal law, having prosecuted and defended cases at all stages, including conducting bench trials and arguing contested motions during law school internships with the Cook County State’s Attorney and Public Defender offices. She was named a Rising Star in Personal Injury Law by Super Lawyers in 2024. When not advocating for clients, Karla enjoys painting, cooking, and spending time with friends enjoying Chicago's live shows, food, and art.
