About Katelyn

Born and raised in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, Katelyn joined the firm in 2023. Katelyn is an associate in the State College office of McQuaide Blasko, Inc. Her primary focus is Business and Corporate Law, and Estate Planning and Administration. Katelyn began her legal career with the Pennsylvania Governor’s Office of General Counsel serving as Assistant Counsel for the Pennsylvania Department of Health. While at the Department of Health, Katelyn helped to counsel the agency during the unprecedented Coronavirus pandemic. Katelyn also dedicated time to counseling essential Department of Health offices, including the Bureau of Laboratories, the Medical Marijuana Advisory Board, and the Division of Nursing Care Facilities. She obtained undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Philosophy from Penn State University. She received her Juris Doctorate from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where she graduated at the top of her class. While in law school Katelyn received the Legal Research and Writing Award, which is awarded to a graduating student to honor their significant achievement in legal research and writing. Katelyn was also inducted as a member of The Order of the Barristers, a national honorary organization which provides recognition for individuals who have excelled in advocacy and service during law school. During law school Katelyn was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society where she competed twice in the Federal Bar Association’s Thurgood Marshall Memorial Moot Court Competition, which is held annually in Washington D.C. Katelyn is ecstatic to have returned home to Central Pennsylvania and practice law in the community which she was raised. She believes in the importance of giving back to her community and is actively involved in local organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors for Centre LifeLink EMS.
