Blanchard Walker’s Katherine Douthitt has been named as a 40 under 40 Honoree by the Young Professionals Initiative (YPI), a network of community leaders and professionals under the age of 40. The award was presented at the 11th Annual Northwest Louisiana Young Professionals Dinner and Gala presented by The Forum on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at the Shreveport Convention Center. The 40 under 40 program is designed to bring greater awareness to 40 outstanding young professionals working in Northwest Louisiana. Each year, forty professionals under the age of forty are selected by a special committee of the Young Professional Initiative to be honored with the 40 under 40 awards. Ms. Douthitt is a licensed title insurance producer and is an agent of First American Title Company of Louisiana. She is a member of the American, Louisiana State, and Shreveport Bar Associations as well as the Ark-La-Tex Association of Professional Landmen, the Louisiana Land Title Association and the Louisiana Association of Independent Land Title Agents. She serves on the boards of Shreveport Symphony Orchestra and the Fuller Center for Housing of Northwest Louisiana and is an active member of the Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier.
