About Katherine

Katie Barbiere is a Cincinnati native and alumna of Ursuline Academy. Katie graduated cum laude with a B.A. in English Literature from Miami University and received her J.D. from the College of William & Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law. She was a Notes Editor for the Environmental Policy & Review Journal and served as a teaching assistant in her second and third year. During law school, Katie spent a semester working on the Virginia Innocence Project and volunteered for Student Legal Services which provided information to undergraduate students seeking legal assistance. Katie is a member of the Ohio Bar Association and Cincinnati Bar Association. Her practice focuses on litigation primarily in civil rights and municipal law, insurance defense, personal injury and wrongful death claims, medical malpractice, premises liability and intentional torts. She serves as Law Director for Fairfield Township, Butler County, Ohio and Law Director for Pierce Township, Clermont County, Ohio.
