About Katherine

Founding attorney Katherine Niven was chosen by Governor Casey’s office in 1990 to be the Chief Counsel for the Pennsylvania Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. She was the top government lawyer in Pennsylvania for workers’ compensation and oversaw the enforcement of the workers’ compensation laws. She has also served as a Pennsylvania workers’ compensation judge in numerous counties. Ms. Niven created our firm in order to provide excellent quality service to clients who had been injured on the job or who were unable to work because of either mental or physical problems and needed Social Security Disability benefits.
