About Kayli
Kayli A. Van Houtin joined Harvey & Baker, P.C., as a law clerk in 2020 and became an associate in early 2021. Kayli attended Lindenwood University-Belleville for her undergraduate degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology. Following her undergraduate degree she also obtained a master’s degree in criminal justice administration at Lindenwood University-Belleville. Kayli attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where she obtained her juris doctor, graduating in May 2020. While attending Cumberland School of Law, Kayli spent her second summer with the St. Clair County States Attorney’s Office in Belleville, Illinois. She also volunteered at the Jefferson County Family Courthouse in Birmingham, Alabama assisting in providing family law services for low-income families and spent time in a local Birmingham Family Law Office during her third year. Kayli’s close ties to family and the surrounding community brought her back to Southern Illinois in May of 2020, where she began her legal career.
