Morris Lane Harvey was recommended by his peers to be named a Leading Illinois Attorney in the area of family law. Fewer than 8% of Illinois attorneys have this distinction. Mr. Harvey has also been designated as a “Super Lawyer” in Illinois, an award extended to only 5% of the lawyers in the state. His family law practice began with a simple desire to help his neighbor, a single mother who lacked the resources necessary to care for her severely asthmatic daughter. Forty-five years onward, a substantial part of his personal injury litigation practice has involved all of the aspects and nuances that family law brings with it. He expertly guides his clients through the legal resolution of personal conflicts, providing realistic legal advice, with empathy born from decades of experience. Over the past four decades, Mr. Harvey has tackled family law cases of increasing complexity and has done groundbreaking work in conflicts involving domestic violence.
