About Kevin

Kevin Hewitt Jr. graduated from Michigan State University in 2009, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Pre-Law. He then graduated Cum Laude from Thomas Cooley Law School in 2012, where he earned a Juris Doctor degree and was admitted to the bar of both the State of New Jersey and the State of Michigan in 2013. Kevin concentrates his practice in insurance defense litigation, construction defect litigation, and all municipal court matters including both defense and prosecution, where he is the primary municipal prosecutor in the shared courts of Bedminster, Bernard’s Township, Bernardsville, and Peapack Gladstone as well as the back-up municipal prosecutor in multiple other municipalities in New Jersey. Before joining the firm, Kevin practiced law primarily in Somerset and Middlesex Counties for over 6 years, where he concentrated his practice on mainly criminal defense, personal injury litigation, and municipal court defense. Kevin has extensive experience in all phases of litigation of both criminal and civil including trials, where he has handled multiple jury trials from start to finish.
