About Kit
After graduating cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in May 2020, Kit earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in May 2024. During her time at UMKC Law, Kit served as a Structured Study Group leader, mentoring first- and second-year students in Criminal Law, Contract Law, Federal Income Taxation, and Constitutional Law. Her dedication to legal education and mentorship reflects her commitment to shaping the future of the legal profession. Before law school, Kit gained valuable experience working as a legal assistant at Davis, Bethune, & Jones, where she developed practical insights into the legal field that continue to guide her practice today. As a member of the UMKC Law Review, Kit honed her research and writing skills, further enhancing her expertise in legal analysis. Outside of her legal career, Kit enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and traveling. Her passion for community and adventure informs her approach to law, where she prioritizes building meaningful connections with her clients.
