About Kurt

Kurt is a partner at Schroeder, Maundrell, Barbiere & Powers. He has broad experience in both litigation and transactional work. His primary focus as a litigator is in the areas of insurance defense, municipal law, zoning, land use, and probate estates. Kurt is licensed in Ohio and Kentucky and admitted to practice before state and federal courts in both jurisdictions. He has successfully argued cases before the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Ohio Supreme Court, and various Ohio Appellate Courts. In addition, Kurt represents individual clients and small businesses in transactional matters and court proceedings. He advises clients regarding creation of their Wills and Trusts as well as trust and estate administration. Kurt is a resident of Sharonville, Ohio with his wife, Sarah, and their three children. They enjoy staying active in the Sharonville community and through their church, St. Michael the Archangel. Kurt also presently serves as the Treasurer for the City of Sharonville. He previously served on the Sharonville Board of Zoning Appeals for three years.
