About Lannie
Lannie Milliman attended Tulane University, majoring in Psychology, and studied English Literature at the University of New Orleans. She then attended Tulane University Law School, serving as a Managing Editor of the Tulane Law Review and awarded the Order of the Coif. Admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1995, she clerked for Senior Judge Nauman S. Scott of the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, and then for Justice E. Joseph Bleich of the Louisiana Supreme Court. She worked for several New Orleans area defense firms, practicing product liability, commercial litigation, and tort defense, before joining The Truitt Law Firm. She currently practices insurance defense, automobile accidents, and premises liability, with a focus on legal writing. She is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
