About Michelle
Born in New Orleans and raised in Chalmette, Louisiana, Michelle Mayne Davis graduated Valedictorian from the Academy of the Holy Angels and attended Louisiana State University on a full academic scholarship before earning a B.S. in marketing from the University of New Orleans. She attended Loyola University School of Law, where she was on the Loyola Law Review and served as Casenote/Quantum Study Editor, admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1994. She began her legal career practicing personal injury, maritime, mass tort/class action litigation, probate, and successions. She later practiced commercial, real estate, and construction transactions and litigation, estate planning, and probate and successions, and acted as general counsel for professionals and small businesses. She has represented the State of Louisiana, the Louisiana Attorney General, the Louisiana Department of Revenue and Taxation, the Terrebonne Parish School Board, and the Republic of Panama.
