About Lorraine

Lorraine Robinson, known as “Lorrie,” is a Clearwater native whose interest in trial law began at age 12 after reading about criminal defense attorney Earl Rodgers. She decided then to become a trial lawyer. For over twenty years, Lorrie has been recognized by the Florida Bar as a Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney, a distinction held by a very small percentage of attorneys, recognizing her knowledge and experience. She participated in debate teams throughout high school and college. Her law school experiences included clerking with the Clearwater State Attorney’s office in 1977 and interning with the Public Defender’s office in West Palm Beach in 1978. After graduating law school in March 1979, she joined the Public Defender’s office in West Palm Beach, where she learned trial practice over 10 years, trying over 100 serious felony cases, including first-degree murder trials. She served as Chief of Felonies, supervising 25 attorneys. In 1989, Lorrie transitioned to civil practice, handling commercial litigation and personal injury. In 1992, she moved to Tampa and continued her practice. Lorrie joined Perenich, Caulfield, Avril & Noyes in 1998 as an associate. She is a member of the Clearwater Bar Association and the Florida Justice Association, and formerly served as President of the Pinellas Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. She has taught numerous seminars on internet and computer usage, and presentations to paralegals, nurses, and healthcare professionals. Lorrie is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts, the Supreme Court of the United States, and the United States District Court, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. She focuses on personal injury law, including auto accidents, slip and fall, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, and social security disability claims. In her free time, Lorrie enjoys family, friends, traveling, music, birdwatching, and the outdoors with her cocker spaniel. She is involved in charitable activities, including pro bono legal services and serving on the ministry worship team at Pinellas Hope.
