About Matthew

Matthew Noyes' interest in personal injury law started after he was involved in a car crash himself at the age of 16. His first-hand knowledge has helped him to aggressively illustrate how a crash victim is much more than a pile of medical records. Matthew is a named partner at Perenich, Caulfield, Avril & Noyes Personal Injury Lawyers, and has been at the firm since 1989. He has dedicated most of his adult life to helping victims of personal injury. He is the author of four books on his areas of law. Matthew was born in Naperville, Illinois, and has been living in Pinellas County since 1976. He attended St. Cecelia Catholic School and graduated from Clearwater Central Catholic. He obtained two associate degrees from St. Petersburg Junior College, a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from the University of South Florida, and his Juris Doctorate at Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, graduating sixth in his law school class. Matthew is dedicated to his community, serving as an adjunct professor, coaching youth baseball, and founding the Noyes Family Foundation for charitable activities. He is admitted to practice in all Florida courts and the United States District Court. He is a member of the Florida Justice Association, the Clearwater Bar Association, and the St. Petersburg Bar Association. Matthew has appeared as host and guest of the live call-in legal television show, FLA LAW. He enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife Marti, children Krystal and Jacob, and two granddaughters. He is also a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Tampa Bay Rays.
