About Michael
Michael A. Shaffer is a lifetime resident of Williams County, Ohio, graduating from Stryker High School in 1983. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University in 1987 and his Juris Doctorate from Toledo College of Law in 1990. Admitted to the Ohio Bar in November 1990 and Federal Courts in 1991, he joined the firm as an associate in 1990 and became a partner in January 1995. Michael is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and Williams County Bar Association, having served as past president of the latter and a past member of the Ohio State Bar Association’s Council of Delegates. He maintains a varied practice including trial advocacy, real estate, estate planning, probate, personal injury, worker’s compensation, and family law. He is active in community projects in Bryan, serving on the Bryan Area Foundation, St. Patrick’s Catholic School Education Endowment, Maumee Valley Guidance Center, Metropolitan Housing Authority, and Project 2020.
