About Michael

Michael P. Camaj was born and raised in New York, but now calls Michigan his home. He received his Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, MI. During law school, he participated in several international legal programs, including the Capitals of Europe Summer Program with the Honorable Samuel A. Alito, Jr. He also completed his Erasmus studies at Maastricht University Faculty of Law, focusing on Private International Law and International Trade Law. He worked as an associate in Dublin at the Office of the Attorney General’s Office for the Republic of Ireland, and later in the private sector in the General Counsel Division for a private corporation based in Paris, France. Mr. Camaj earned a Masters in Laws in Dispute Resolution & Advocacy at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, where he represented the school at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court and participated in the Justice and Reconciliation Program in South Africa. He also assisted legal counsel in Holocaust Restitution Claims. Admitted to practice law in New York and Michigan, Mr. Camaj has experience trying criminal cases, divorce and custody suits, personal injury claims, auto accidents, commercial real-estate and corporate litigation, civil rights, and 1983 claims. Today at Scott Goodwin Law P.C., Mr. Camaj specializes in No-Fault and Bodily Injury claims for Auto Accident victims, Premises Liability claims, and Dog Bite claims.
