About Monte
Monte Beck grew up in Anaconda, Montana, and graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 1979. He served as a U.S. District Court law clerk for two years before opening his own law office in 1982, focusing on representing injured workers, consumers, and employees. He is a member of the Montana Trial Lawyers Association (serving on the Board of Directors and as President), the American Board of Trial Advocates (President of Montana Chapter), Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, and the Montana State Bar. He has received the Montana Trial Lawyers Association’s Public Service Award and Trial Lawyer of the Year Award. He is listed in the Best Lawyers in America for personal injury litigation and has successfully represented clients in high-profile cases, including a $900 million settlement for the State of Montana in tobacco litigation.
