About Murray

Murray H. Miskin is an Ontario lawyer called to the Bar in 1981, with over 40 years of experience. He received his B.A. from Trent University in 1976 and his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1979. He worked on accident claim compensation with Toronto law firms before forming his own firm. Murray has been an Arbitrator since 1987 and a Mediator since 1997, and has been the principal arbitration instructor of the ADR Institute of Ontario since 1985. He taught Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Arbitration at the University of Toronto for 10 years. He was Chair of Sections for the Canadian Bar Association and served on its national Board of Directors. He now focuses on firm management, overseeing personal injury, real estate, and estate planning practices, and is the senior lawyer at Miskin Law Professional Corporation.
