About Nichole

Associate attorney Jennifer Nichole Oblinger (“Nichole”) is a 5th generation native Arizonan, raised in Miami, Gila County. She graduated from Miami High School at 17 and headed to ASU. Her ancestors were tough-minded prospectors in the 1880s, with her great-great-great grandpa buried in Tombstone’s Boothill. Nichole has served the bench as judge pro tem and is an experienced litigator, viewing herself primarily as a counselor helping clients build successful, happy, independent lives. Early in her legal career, she practiced business transactional law and litigation, as well as consumer bankruptcy. As Special Counsel to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, Child and Family Protection Division, she focused on child welfare law, termination of parental rights, guardianship, and adoption. She is active in the community, assisting the Anthem Rotary and Daisy Mountain Veterans, and involved in area recovery groups. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice from ASU West, Summa Cum Laude (1995), and her juris doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law, San Antonio, Texas, graduating 2nd in her class, Summa Cum Laude (2007). She was active in the Employment and Labor Law Association and was an honor society member. She served as Comment Editor of the St. Mary’s Law Journal Editorial Board (2006). Nichole and her husband Justin have been happily married for 27 years and have two children in their early 20s. She enjoys computer gaming, crocheting, and gardening while hanging out with her three dogs. Her favorite books are historical fiction or non-fiction, favorite vacation was to Paris, Rome, and London, favorite TV show is 'Band of Brothers,' favorite movie is 'The Lord of the Rings' series, and favorite cuisine is Globe-Miami Mexican.
