About Patrick

Patrick McKay is a Partner at Kirk, Huth, Lange & Badalamenti, PLC. He represents commercial real estate sellers, purchasers, and developers in transactional and development needs. He also serves as outside general counsel for small to medium-sized businesses, assisting with business formation, contracting, and business transactions. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in 2001, Marian University (cum laude) in 2005 with a B.S. in Business Administration, and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law (J.D.) in 2008. He worked as a law clerk for Kirk, Huth, Lange & Badalamenti, PLC during law school. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (Real Property and Business Law Sections) and the Macomb County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He was selected as an Up & Coming Lawyer by Michigan Lawyers Weekly in 2017 and has been named a Rising Star by SuperLawyers annually since 2013. He and his wife Nicole have three sons, and he coaches their hockey teams and serves as Legal Representative of the Board of Governors for the St. Clair Shores Hockey Association.
