R. Scott Robinson is a vital member of the firm’s criminal defense team as well as a personal injury attorney. A former prosecutor, Scott has handled thousands of cases in Brevard County as both a prosecutor and defense attorney, cases ranging from DUIs to serious felonies. He joined the Florida Bar in 2011 after receiving his juris doctorate degree from the University of Florida. He is a 2001 graduate of that same university, having served two tours in Iraq before attending law school. Following college, Scott enlisted in the Army and later attended Officer Candidate School, becoming an officer. Over the course of his time in the Army, Scott completed Airborne and Ranger school, was deployed twice to Iraq, and was awarded two Bronze Star Medals, a Purple Heart, and an Army Commendation medal for Valor. Scott began his legal career as a prosecutor in Brevard County. Next, Scott worked for a firm defending insurance companies and their insureds. Scott currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Brevard County Bar Association. He is the president of the local chapter of the Military Officer’s Association. He is on the Board of Directors for the Brevard Veterans Resource Network and Brevard 211 and is a graduate of Leadership Brevard Class of 2015.
