About Rachel
Rachel Welborn is an associate attorney who handles personal injury matters in various stages of litigation in the Tampa Bay area. Rachel graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in health services administration and a minor in health sciences. She received her Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law. She began her practice representing clients in probate litigation, property disputes and estate matters. Prior to joining Emerson Straw, Rachel was an associate attorney at a civil defense firm where she represented insurance companies including Geico Insurance Company, USAA Casualty, Auto Owners Insurance Company, Traveler’s Insurance Company, and State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company. This experience gave her insight into how corporations and insurance companies evaluate and defend personal injury claims, which she now uses to advocate on behalf of individuals and their families who have been injured due to the negligence of others. Rachel was raised on the east coast of Florida in New Smyrna Beach and now resides in St. Petersburg. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking nature trails, and reading.
