As the founder and principal of Bishop Legal, attorney Raymond Bishop has been dedicated to fighting for the rights of his firm’s clients for nearly three decades. An experienced litigator, Mr. Bishop is responsible for having secured hundreds of highly favorable awards for his clients both in and out of court. Before founding Bishop Legal in the Seattle-Tacoma area, Mr. Bishop worked at the international law firm of Von Wobeser y Sierra in Mexico City, specializing in the representation of multinational corporate clients from the EU and the United States. Much of Mr. Bishop’s work is embodied in appellate court and Washington state Supreme Court decisions defining the duty of super-authoritative entities to keep workplaces safe for Washington’s working men and women. It is now practically impossible for any workplace injury case to be tried in Washington state without significant citation to Mr. Bishop’s precedent-setting case work. Mr. Bishop has appeared at every level of the Washington state civil court system from local district courts, ex parte courts, superior courts, appellate courts, federal district courts, and even the Supreme Court in Olympia. Mr. Bishop has built ground-up relationships with other attorneys and judges. His experience and professional network afford him, and by extension his clients, an advantage in difficult legal arenas.
