About Richard

Richard was born and raised in Hardin County and is a graduate of North Hardin High School. Richard earned his law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Kentucky College of Public Health. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Transylvania with additional concentrations in Chemistry and Economics. After law school, Richard began his legal career at the Department of Public Advocacy working as a criminal trial attorney. Richard joined SBWH in 2022, where he continues his passion for helping clients navigate various difficult legal issues. In addition to his legal career, Richard has worked as a trusted advisor and consultant to businesses on a number of complex issues. As a Graduate Fellow with the Kentucky Legislative Research Commission, he worked with the Program Review & Investigations Committee conducting contract and finance audits of telecommunications providers awarded state contracts. Richard is also certified in True Lean process improvement through Toyota Motor Manufacturing. Utilizing his extensive knowledge of widely available computer-assisted information management programs, Richard developed low-cost, high-efficiency inventory management systems for healthcare organizations.
