About Richard
Richard Klugh is an experienced attorney with a comprehensive practice in both criminal and civil law. His civil litigation experience spans business litigation, tort and mass tort claims, personal injury, civil rights, and other complex matters. He represents clients in state and federal courts, handling trial, appellate, and post-conviction litigation in Miami and nationwide. Richard has served as lead counsel in numerous cases resulting in published victories in state and federal appellate courts, won numerous trial victories, and appeared in cases at every level of the trial and appellate courts in the United States, including the U.S. Supreme Court. He is the former Chief of the Appellate Division of the Federal Defender's Office in the Southern District of Florida and editor of the Defense Newsletter. He received FACDL-Miami's 'Against All Odds' award in 2006. Richard is fluent in Spanish and has conducted case investigations requiring Spanish proficiency.
