About Richard
Richard Lucas grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he developed a strong work ethic and a passion for lifelong learning. He earned his MBA from Central Michigan University, graduating summa cum laude, and later received his Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he graduated magna cum laude. Richard has extensive experience in corporate leadership, with a focus on labor and employment, contracts, and mergers and acquisitions. He served as an executive with Signet, Inc. from 2016 to 2022, where he managed executive operations, facilitated mergers and acquisitions, acted as a liaison with the Department of Labor, and provided strategic guidance on labor and employment matters. In 2022, he joined Charter as an executive, continuing his work in labor and employment and contract management. In addition to his corporate experience, Richard has a background in private legal practice in Ohio, where he focused on family law, contract law, and torts. His diverse legal and business expertise has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of both the corporate and individual aspects of law. Outside of his professional life, Richard enjoys golfing, playing tennis, traveling, visiting art museums, and collecting art. He is also an enthusiast of live theatre, opera, and orchestral performances. Richard is married to his wife, Demra, and together they enjoy exploring new cultural experiences and spending quality time with family and friends.
