About Richard
Richard M. Maniatis is a litigator and partner at Zaremba Brown. He focuses his practice on helping injured persons involved in construction accidents and medical malpractice cases. He also represents clients in actions involving wrongful death, premises liability, and motor vehicle accidents. In all cases, his goal is to obtain just compensation for his clients, whether through pretrial settlement negotiations or at trial. Before joining Zaremba Brown, Mr. Maniatis worked at a prestigious defense firm specializing in medical malpractice. Having been a defense attorney, he is familiar with defense tactics and uses that knowledge to prosecute his clients’ cases from a strategic vantage point - one that strengthens his ability to obtain sizable settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients. Mr. Maniatis graduated from St. John’s University School of Law and earned his undergraduate degree from Fordham University. He is admitted to the state bars of New York and New Jersey and is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers’ Association, and the American Bar Association. Mr. Maniatis is recognized by Super Lawyers as a New York Metro Rising Star.
