About Riley

Riley Schumacher is a Kansas native, licensed to practice in Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas. His primary practice areas include probate, trust administration, and estate planning. Riley’s passion for the law began early in life and is evident in his work at Stockton and Kandt. He believes in the ability of attorneys to make a significant and positive impact on the lives of their clients. Riley dedicates his practice to ensuring that his clients’ final wishes are honored and that their families are provided for. Riley attended Johnson County Community College before earning his bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Kansas. He worked his way through law school, serving as a substitute teacher in the Olathe School District and conducting legal research for his mentor, Professor Michael Hoeflich. Riley also interned at the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office, serving as an Intern District Attorney before graduating from law school. Since becoming an attorney, Riley has gained invaluable experience in several areas of law, including corporate immigration, domestic relations, and probate practice. His diverse legal background enables him to craft a well-rounded and strategic approach for his clients. Outside of his practice, Riley enjoys traveling across the country on the open road, trying new restaurants around Kansas City, and spending time with his friends and family. He is passionate about maintaining an active lifestyle and cheering on local sports teams.
